I have been employed in the HVAC maintenance industry for 25 years commencing my career with hands on training in mechanical and electrical engineering.

Prior to establishing M&E in 2007 with my Business partner Fred Dixon, I held the post of Operations Director with Carter Planned Maintenance LTD and was responsible for Carter Planned Maintenance UK contracts and a team of 110 engineers across 3 regional centres.

Facilities support and maintenance is a great industry for companies that work hard and put the customer at the core of all they do.

A qualified electrician and heating and air conditioning engineer, this has been the basis of my career.

Prior to joining M&E in 2013 I managed contracting air conditioning and ventilation installation projects for Air Control & Developments (9 years), mostly but not exclusively for retail customers. And prior to that, carried-out service management of air conditioning in commercial buildings for Coolair Services (8 years).

Today I Project Manage installation and maintenance contracts at DHL East Midlands Airport, Wolverhampton Council and South and City College Birmingham for M&E and relish every new day.

In the construction industry for many years, today I provide project support, engineer team rota management, Contracts Manager’ liaison and facilitation of services for M&E.

The team at M&E is great to work with and no project or any day is ever the same!

Both during and post my BTEC in Building Services - Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning.

At South City College, I became a team member of M&E (since 2011). It’s a great company to work for, in growth with some really interesting customers. There’s certainly plenty to keep me busy!

Qualified electrician, heating engineer, air conditioning engineer, inspection and testing manager and IOSH trained I hold the post of Contracts Manager managing larger contracts for M&E across the UK.

I previously headed up a Housing Association engineering team for Quadron Services, held the position of Operations Manager for Johnson Controls and Contracts Manager for Dalkia (building services) for several years.

I have also held the post of Contract Manager for Integral looking after significant manned sites. M&E is an exceptional company to work for with some great customers.
